E-mail from Fox Reagen:
Dear Dan, here are some other items for the Charity Shoot auction. Joe
(the Pottery Dude) McGlue calls these 'fired rounds.' He throws the pots,
shoots them while they are wet, then lets them dry, fires it and then I
glaze them and they are fired again. These four are made and numbered 1
through 4, especially for this shoot. You may be able to see 'St. Jude's
Charity Shoot '07' stamped into the pots. You can see from the one with
the candle that they make unusual candle holders. This year I used a
celadon mineral glaze over spattered iron oxide. If you'd like, we'll do
a different series and color each shoot. There is also a stamped bowl for
people who don't want holes in their pottery.
We're also donating this official Winchester Commemorative beer stein, numbered and with the box. Nope, Joe McGlue didn't make that!
Looking forward to the shoot...Fox and Joe
