WHAT: This is a three (3) day shoot. Side events, to be held on Friday afternoon, August 29th, will include a Wild Bunch Match. This match will involve two (2) single action revolvers, one (1) 1911 style pistol (no compensators or optic sights) with two (2) clips, two(2) lever action pistol caliber rifles, and one pump action shotgun (model 1897 or 1912) and will cost $4.00 (Two Stages).Other side matches include Speed Rifle & Pistol.($1.00 each). Two man team event will be $2.00 each shooter. Also on Friday afternoon long range shooting will be available for 200-yard single shot rifle in blackpowder or smokeless (all lead bullets required) This match will be informal with no awards and no charge. A safety officer will be on hand. Trader Dave will be puttin on his night time Blackpowder match on Friday Evening as well!
The main event is a 5-stage cowboy action match, three stages to be shot on Saturday, August 30th, and two stages to be shot on Sunday, August 31st. Each Stage will require four (4) single action revolvers, two (2) lever action rifles (pistol caliber), and one (1) shotgun with no less than eight (8) rounds per stage.

WHEN: AUGUST 29th, 30th and 31st 2008. COST: $60.00 for registrations postmarked by August 23th 2008, spouse s/o with registered shooters $50.00 each, junior shooters $25.00 each. No Single day registration this year and no telephone registrations allowed.

AWARDS: Trophies for 1st place in all classes WITH AT LEAST 4 ENTRIES will be silver belt buckles for men and silver bracelets for ladies. Certificates will be awarded for the top five shooters in all categories and side events. Awards will be presented after shooting is finished on Sunday.
FOOD: Lunch is provided free for registered shooters at the range on both days. Guests may purchase meals at the range. Breakfast will be available for purchase both days. Friday night we have Tacos available (donation). Saturday night will feature a steak fry with all the fixins at a cost of $15.00.

ALL SASS RULES APPLY: Need not be a SASS member to compete, proper cowboy dress is required. Gun handling is allowed in designated safety areas only, no ammunition handled in safety areas. All pistols must be worn holstered and empty, long guns carried muzzle up and actions open, or on cart with actions open at all times. All shooters and spectators are required to wear eye and ear protection while on the range. NO ALCOHOL until after your match or side events are concluded.
SCHEDULE: FRIDAY Side Matches will start at 1:00 PM. SATURDAY: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM, check-in for pre-registered shooters & walk-in registrations. Walk-in registration closes promptly at 8:30 AM. SATURDAY.Shooters meeting: 8:45 AM sharp, shoot at 9:00 AM. SUNDAY shooters meeting at 9:15AM, shooting starts at 9:30 AM.
