For those that have not attended in the past, this match is the brainchild of TA Spurs & Shamrock Sis. It was formerly a one day match held in Milan IL. only. To say it has grown would be an understatement! The gist of it is, we donate every single penny we take in to the kids of St. Jude Research Hospital.

We will still have two days shooting at two clubs. The first day (26th) with six stages to be shot at Shady Creek Shootists in Monmouth IL . The second day is six more stages at The Illowa Irregulars range in Milan IL . These two clubs are an easy 30-35 minutes apart. Same as last year we will have a steak fry, auction and chance drawings to be held after the first days shooting in Monmouth. This will save time on Sunday for those that must travel.

Stage 3 at Shady Creek will be setup exactly like this... CLICK HERE: Doc Shaprio & Lead Dispenser have set up a website to record World Record Times using this stage. See it.... HERE: We will have a video camera set up for any who may want to give it a try. See current fast stage time by watching THIS VIDEO . The categories initially offered are Traditional, Duelist, Gunfighter, Ladies and Junior. They say they will entertain more classes, if submitted. We will be running this stage from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Entry fee $2.00 for each run (to St Jude's, of course). With the class of shooters that attend this match....I think the results will be interesting (and fun to watch). (Note: since this will be filmed, full cowboy outfits required)

We will be having a Friday evening, May 23rd, a "Get together" at Shady Creek. (6:30 ish)

We will be serving Tacos (Donation To St Jude's) and a cocktail hour (hours-?) BYOB AND

Miss JADYN has volunteered to come sing to us for a couple hours!

UPDATE 12-31-08 Sheriff Boo Boo Bottom has started off the clean stage for each shooter at $1.00 for every clean shooter on the stage of our choice (Anyone else?) UPDATE: Fox Reagen & Joe McGlue have added a buck! UPDATE: Tuekatz Bodine has added two bucks for the clean stage fund! Update 03-04-08 Partner & Partners Partner have added $5.00 per shooter.
